Silver Star Telecom was founded in 2002 by Clint Warta, previous co-founder of PF.Net, which was awarded a contract to build 5,000 route miles of AT&T’s new fiber optic network. As PF.Net’s Vice President Sales, Strategic Accounts Group, Mr. Warta assumed executive-level responsibility for Fortune 100 customers and large carriers.

Prior to PF.Net, Clint co-founded publicly-traded GST Telecommunications. At GST, Clint served as a Vice President of Product Management and Development; and Vice President of Network Optimization. Mr. Warta has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.

BRANDON DRAKE – VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING

Brandon has more than 16 years of experience in the telecom industry. He most recently held the position of Director of Network Engineering with a regional CLEC in SW Colorado where he was responsible for day-to-day network operations, project management, and product development. Prior to that, Mr. Drake was Vice President of Network Operations & Information Technology with Beaver Creek Cooperative Telephone Company where he managed both the internal IT projects and ISP operations. Brandon has also held several management positions at PF.Net and
GST Telecom.

Brandon has a wide range of experiences in all aspects of Telecommunications, IP Engineering, Information Technology, and Executive Management. He also has extensive knowledge of organizational development, communication strategies, technology systems, network transport, and access technologies.
